Timing can change the way an event unfolds. Electional astrology looks ahead at the movement of the planets to identify the most supportive and viable dates and times for an important decision, beginning, or event.

Rather than asking what is going to happen, electional astrology asks:

Electional astrology can be used when you have some flexibility about when something happens. It may be helpful for:

• Signing an important agreement — Identify stronger periods for agreements, negotiations and commitments.
• Moving or beginning a new chapter — Compare possible dates for a move, relocation or significant transition.

• Having an important conversation — Look for periods that may support greater clarity, communication and receptivity.
• Submitting, announcing or releasing something important — Choose a stronger moment for an application, proposal, announcement, publication or launch.
• Ceremonies and meaningful personal events — Compare available dates and times for an occasion you want to begin under supportive conditions.

HOW IT WORKS

You tell me:

• what you are planning
• where the event will take place
• the dates or general period available to you
• any dates or times that are impossible
• how much flexibility you have
• what matters most about the outcome

You may give me one specific day, several possible dates, or a search window of up to 90 days. I then examine the available astrology within that period and compare the strongest possibilities.

Your own birth chart is considered alongside the election whenever it is relevant, so the timing is not chosen from the sky in isolation. If another person is central to the event, their birth information may also be considered when appropriate.

WHAT I LOOK AT

An election is much more than choosing a day with a pleasant Venus or Jupiter aspect. The chart for the beginning itself matters. I examine factors including:

• the Moon and its condition
• applying and separating aspects
• planetary strength and dignity
• the Ascendant and Midheaven
• rulers of the relevant houses
• challenging planetary configurations
• retrogrades and stations
• eclipses and sensitive lunation periods
• your natal chart when relevant
• important transits and longer-term timing patterns
• the practical purpose of the event

The goal is not to find a magically flawless chart. Those rarely exist. The goal is to identify the strongest available moment within the choices you actually have.

For one event or decision and a search period of up to 90 days.

You will receive:

• your strongest recommended date and time
• additional highly supportive alternatives
• backup timing options when appropriate
• the exact date and local time
• an explanation of why that period was selected
• identification of important periods to avoid when relevant

YOU DO NOT NEED A THREE-MONTH WINDOW

If your choices are limited, that is completely fine. I work within the choices that actually exist. Greater flexibility simply gives astrology more possibilities to work with.

Electional astrology works best when you already know what you are trying to time.
